Born and raised in Illinois, I’m a design leader who has built my career on curiosity, resilience, and a passion for solving complex problems. From an early age, I was fascinated by how things work and driven to make them better. I initially dreamed of becoming a mechanic because I loved getting hands-on, taking apart cars, understanding how each part fit together, and learning how to fix them.

That same curiosity eventually expanded beyond mechanical systems. During college, I shifted my focus from engines to technology, channeling my drive to understand, improve, and build into the digital world. This transition set the foundation for a career dedicated to designing and evolving products that empower people and organizations.

 

I’ve led and scaled design organizations across B2B SaaS, e-commerce, enterprise UX, and security/compliance, guiding multi-squad teams through complex, high-stakes environments.

• Verizon Business Group: Senior Design Manager shaped the UX vision for enterprise security, mentored distributed squads, and aligned design strategy with business outcomes.

• Sprout Social: Director of Product Design, leading Care and Integration squads.

• Paylocity: Product Design Manager, grew from IC to managing up to 15+ designers across payroll, HR, expense, data insights, compensation, design systems, and compliance.

Today, I focus on building high-performing, values-driven teams that deliver products people trust. I’ve mentored dozens of designers into confident leaders, helped optimize portfolios for executive impact, and shared lessons learned navigating industry challenges.
